Background Introduction

区块链是一场伟大的革命，区块技术会改变生产关系，主要应用方向是大数据、共享经济和物联网，借用链圈大佬李笑来的话说：区块链这个东西太过刺激，人类史上从来就没有出现过哪一个技术离钱这么近，甚至干脆就是钱本身。简单点说就是历史记录不能篡改的数据库技术，完成公平、公正、公开、不可篡改等等基本的属性的记账功能，所以区块链在各个角度能够改变世界这是事实，你或许都无法想象会到什么程度。

Blockchain is a significant revolution, whose technology will reshape the production relationship, and it can be mainly applied to big data, shared economy, and internet of things(IOT). Mr Lee Xiaolai, the blockchain mogul once said, blockchain is quite thrilling as no technology ever popped up in history is so closely related to the money, or being the money itself. To put it simple, blockchain is a database technology that is resistant to the modification of its data, boasting the properties of fair, justice, open and irreversible bookkeeping. In a word, blockchain is changing the world from each and every field beyond your imagination.

国家层面布局

Strategic Layout of the Country

大环境下，国家层面已经对区块链技术早已开始布局。早在2016年9月，我国就已加入国际标准化组织（ISO）所成立区块链和分布式记账技术委员会（ISO/TC 307），参与制定区块链和分布式记账技术领域的国际标准；国家工信部电子工业标准化研究院区块链研究室主任李鸣在表示：2018年5月国家工信部宣布建立区块链国家标准，拟从顶层设计推动区块链标准体系建设，预计最快将于2019年底完成。

With national development, blockchain technology has been put on the agenda of the government. Earlier to the September 2016, China joined the Committee of blockchain and distributed bookkeeping technology(ISO/TC307) established by ISO, participating the formulation of international standard of technology regarding blockchain and distributed bookkeeping aspect. Mr Li Min, Head of research office in blockchain of electronic industry standardized research institute of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), stated that national standard of blockchain was established in May 2018, and the building of blockchain system should be promoted from the top-level design, expecting to be completed by the end of 2019 at the earliest.

Government Policy Incentives

杭州方面，在2016年杭州G20峰会，区块链就被列为重要议题；2018年4月，全国首个区块产业园在西湖区西溪谷互联网金融小镇落户，与蚂蚁金服、网商银行、浙江大学毗邻；2018年全球区块链（杭州）高峰论坛在杭州国际博览中心召开。5月25日，西湖区人民政府出台《中国·杭州区块链产业园政策（暂行）》文件显示，对入驻并注册在区块链产业园区的区块链技术及应用的项目和企业（机构）给予扶持，对入驻企业、人才给予补助，并奖励区块链技术研发和落地应用，入园即有房租补助和每年10万补助，根据研究和应用成果有多项补助、奖励项目，最高金额300万，多项累计将是不小的数目。

Blockchain was listed as a key agenda in Hangzhou G20 summit of 2016; The first blockchain industrial park was settled in the Internet & financial town in Xixi Valley of West Lake area in April 2018, and adjacent to Ant Financial, MYbank and Zhejiang University; Global Blockchain(Hangzhou) Summit Forum of 2018 was held in Hangzhou International Expo Center. On 25 May 2018, West Lake district government released the document of China·Hangzhou blockchain industrial park policy(provisional), demonstrating that bundles of support will be given to those projects and incorporates(institutes) specialized in blockchain technology and its application after their settlement and registration in the park. Also subsidies go to those incorporates and talents in the park as well as awards and premiums ready to be granted to the R&D and application of blockchain technology, i.e. residential subsidy and RMB 100,000 annual subsidy to those who settled and registered in the park. Given that total amount of multiple subsidies, awards and premium items up to RMB 3,000,000 are available for the R&D and application projects, it is indeed quite much too attractive.

Blockchain course will be set up in College of Computer Science and Technology, and Software institute of Zhejiang University in the second half of 2018. Hangzhou is a pioneering city in terms of both blockchain technology and government policy incentives in China. Although Shenzhen outpaced Hangzhou in AI, Hangzhou is determined to seize the initiative in blockchain. Meanwhile, Hangzhou is notably a city of great vision with open policies, enterprises abundant in capital, and rich talents. Trust blockchain is bound to flourish in such a city.

Great Wall Society(GWS) has aimed to be the largest blockchain community since its establishment. By faciliating its development and application of blockchain technology and providing a platform for blockchain fans to study and exchange ideas, GWS has the authentic attribute of socialism. All members of GWS share common understanding without involving any benefits. With such a consensus, an ecosystem will be created, in which GWS unify the pace and coordinate the labor division, and move ahead in an agreed way. Contribution can trade with corresponding awards, also fairness and justice can be fully realized in such a system.

传统的商业世界中最重要的是商业模式，在区块链的世界里最重要的即是经济模型。经济模型的纬度相对高一层级，它和商业模式又互不脱离，因为无数的商业模式恰是能够构成经济模型的重要组成。

The business mode plays the most important role in the traditional business world, while the economic mode is the most essential in the blockchain field. As we all know, economic mode is relatively in higher level, but it can never break away from the business mode as countless business modes compose the key component of economic mode.

从组织结构上来看，假如公司是古代的皇帝，那么生杀大权集于一人，他的利益也只归属一人；但在区块链时代，同一个社区内，没有人拥有高度集权，无论何种身份，是公司还是个人，在这个社区里都是平等的，都是按照贡献值获得奖励。要说区块链颠覆世界的理由，也无疑是此了。  

From the perspective of organizational structure, supposed that a company is an emperor with all powers in ancient times, and all benefits belong to him only; However, in the era of blockchain, no one has highly centralized power, neither a company nor an individual, and everyone is equal in this community. Awards only will be granted by the contributions. That’s why we say the blockchain can reshape the world.

前景展望 Prospects

区块链创业者都需具备革命者的素养。何谓革命者素养？第一要具备感染力，能感染一群人同你一起前行，第二要有信仰，信仰是虚幻又切实的，一个有信仰的人，无论遇到怎样的困境，信仰都是强大的精神支柱。

Entrepreneurs of blockchain have to feature with revolutionaries literacy. But what is the revolutionaries literacy? First, being charismatic, one can quickly influence others to go forward together; Second, being faithful, one has a powerful spiritual pillar no matter what difficulties are.

一个拥有革命素养的创业者，一定会遇到志同道合的伙伴同行。当然，这些伙伴的信仰不是创业者强加给大家的，而是真正的志同道合、达成共识而后一路同行。

An entrepreneur with revolutionaries literacy is bound to have fellows with shared faith on the way ahead. Of course, such faith of those fellows are not imposed by the entrepreneur, but is based on their shared beliefs that enable them to work together. .

长城公社的本质就是大家产生的共识一起去推动区块链社区的发展和前行。区块链的伟大精神，在于共识称为“DAO”。DAO叫去中心化自治或自主管理组织。区块链整个社区内，统一按劳分配，保证公平、公正、公开、透明，没有领导人，完全靠共识推进，这是多么伟大的区块链精神。

The essence of GWS is to boost the development and progress of the blockchain. The great spirit of blockchain is to have a common understanding called “DAO”, which is the abbreviation of decentralized autonomous organization. Within blockchain conmmunity, there’s no leader, but the distribution is based on one’s performance. All activities can be carried out in a way of fair, justice, open, transparent, and the only dynamic is the common understanding, which is the great spirit of blockchain.

在参与区块链社区建设中，长城公社前期参与的社员成立“秘书处”，为社群服务，真正的区块链项目不是公司化的，而是社区化，是一个NGO（非政府组织），也是一帮有共识的人所做的事情.

As to build and develop the blockchain community, members who have joined GWS earlier  has founded “secretariat”, so as to serve the community. The true blockchain programme is not a kind of incorporation, but communalization. It is a NGO with a group of people passionate about the same goal.
